Does Avolites Support Pathway's Secure Streaming ACN (ssACN) Protocol?

Pathway has interpreted Title 1.81.26 of the California Civil Code to require that they have full security between their products and anything that might talk with them by default. To comply with that interpretation, they have developed their own “Secure sACN” (ssACN) which adds a layer of security on top of the ANSI E1.31 sACN standard.

 

Avolites does not share in Pathway’s interpretation of the standard as the lighting network is not intended to be connected with the open internet. Additionally, ssACN is not an adopted standard at this time by ANSI at this time.
